Since 1995, Austroprojekt started to build up a network of branch offices in order to guarantee more effective local project coordination, and to strengthen self-promotion and local capacity building. Hence, Austroprojekt is represented by local offices in Tanzania, Burkina Faso, Burundi and in Tunisia, all run by qualified local personnel. In addition, we collaborate closely with partner organisations in Kenya, Cameroon, Morocco, Bangladesh, India, Nepal and Vietnam.
Furthermore, we have established a network of NGOs dealing with the preservation of peace and the prevention of conflicts in West Africa – the Strategic Partnership for Peace in Africa – PASPA (www.paspa-africa.org). Partners in this network are NGOs from several ECOWAS countries.
